I'm trying to make IGBT Gate Driver with OptoIsolator to operate it as a switch to control a LED. Is my circuit correct? Also Please Suggest Possible Values for Resistors...

What is input signal characteristics, frequency ?

Why such a high rated IGBT in current, power, for a low power LED drive
situation ?

Regards, Dana.

Hi,

I agree with Dana.

Without more details it makes no sense to use
* a 1200V IGBT to switch 15V only (80 times over sized)
* a 80A IGBT to switch 0.15A only (500 times over sized)
also your optoisolater .. indeed does not isolate, since both sides refer to the same GND.

I don´t understand what you want to achieve with this.

I recommend you to search the internet for more suitable LED control circuits. There are many thousands...
