I have a problem to configure the dencoder register of the sti 5518 family, I nod´t have any information about this register on the sti5518, I will apreciate any help than you can give me or any information.

The problem is that i convert an DRD430RG of the RCA(DirecTv receiver) in a DP301_013(dish network receiver) but i have a problem with the video signal in somes tv I have the colors but in others is black and white, the receivers have the same microprocessor(sti5518), but in the dish network is sti5518 FCV and in the directv receiver is the sti5518 MVB, I really don't know why I have this problem I sure that the lasts letters diferentens is the cause of my problem I will apreciate any help or information about the map of the configuration registers of the sti5518 family.

Thanks for your time and sorry for my english I'm Cuban.

Sorry friend, but i have the same trouble and i'm cuban too.

Your problem is video singal from same STB can be displayed on one TV with color, while mono-color on another one. Am I right?
If the CVBS output from STB is PAL or NTSC format, while your TV monitor wasn't set to the right mode, it maybe cause the problem.

I have a problem to configure the dencoder register of the sti 5518 family,

How do you want to configure them? Which tools (software) do you want to use? What is the actual state of your work?

I nod´t have any information about this register on the sti5518, I will apreciate any help than you can give me or any information.

This ST20 processor famaliy (STi5514,15,16,18,19 etc) is "not public", and you have to sign a non-disclosure-agreement if you want to buy a development board to create your own device. The ST20 family is based upon the former "Transputer" chip developed by inmos

I sure that the lasts letters diferentens is the cause of my problem

You are right, the letters identify the different "flavours" of audio and video output: PAL, NTSC, Macrovision, Dolby (in different combinations)
