Many people are talking about using @DS and Cedence to design RFIC, i am wondering if anyone has other experience, i mean the true industrial one? I know some companies are designing RFIC, but engineers inside are not using @DS or Cadence. They prefer free software or cheaper one. Cost is the BIG issue when fighting with your competitors. I am eager to know if anyone can share information about how they organize the tools in developing RFIC product: RF simulator software? IC layout? IF these two are not same, how to inport/export files (eg. netlist) between them? do you do post layout simulation (i know some companies do not do post layout simulation)? Thanks
