i want to build a frequency multiplier circuit using a step recovery diode(SRD)
If anyone can get me some help on this i would be grateful...

You want something called HP Application note #920. It describes a practical way to make a high order frequency multiplier using SRD diodes and an input driving inductance that forms a narrow voltage spike (rich in harmonics). I do not know where to get that app note online, maybe someone else knows?

HP pulled this application note because the theory behind it was inaccurate, but surprisingly many frequency multipliers were successfully designed and built using that method.

This site may help.

BTW, if you only want to make a X2 or X3, there are much more efficient ways to design using filters and idler circuits. Look up papers by Penfield, Rafuse....
