Hello everyone,

I'm using Encounter to implement my circuit. But I met some notices like red rhombus without warnings. Could anyone tell me what does it mean please? Thanks very much!

What's more, this kind of white squire is baffling as well. Any help please!

the red informe the routing congestion, the first number is the routig track required and the second number (/40) is the number of track available, H indicate Horizontal track.
the black square indicates a violations.

Thanks a lot for your reply!
But what can I do with that? And why there is no problem when I ignore this information and continue to do the final routing and geometry check?

It's just an information, to indicate where are the routing congestion. You will see during the final routing if the tool could close all DRC violations. If you have some routing issue, you could work with placement blockage....

sorry for the further disturbance, could you explain more about the "placement blockage"? Because the routing is after placing cells, do I need to come back to the previous step?

yes, during the floorplan phase, you could add some placement blockage, hard no cell allows, soft, only std cell during optimisation and CTS could be placed, partial, to "try" to reserved place.
