help people...i need ur help on this...
i would like to do a project which can control NEXT & PREVIOUS button on WINAMP with the IR device..i would like to make ir tx & rx myself...plz help how do i make ir device and where should i connect it and how to write the driver file for interfacing...
looking forward for your help
 

Take a look at http://winlirc.sourceforge.net/ . They have everything you need: schematics for the receiver (serial port and others), WinLIRC itself (the program that analyzes the received IR commands) and gen_ir Winamp plugin (a plug-in for Winamp, at least for Winamp 2.x. Personally not tested with higher versions). They use standard IR remote controls e.g. for TVs ...

I use sch with quartz

One tip from me
When you make scheme shut down first PC then connect IR reciever and then power up your computer.
If you don't make this your Ir don't work.

PS you must have programmer to program pic12
