I want to choose a subject for my final term project or proposal...
I'm studying electronic in a BSc course but other EE topics is also fine.

I prefer a topic that have these feature.

1.I want to use and actually make some experience in SoC Design.
2.I prefer a topic that be challengeable enough or have capability for writing an qualified article also
3.an up to date topic

there are many aspect around but these features are more important for me.

I appreciate your suggestions!

Thank in advance!

SoC design is a pretty big area. Choose an area you like best VHDL/Verilog coding, analogue, DSP or whatever. On topic that is quite upto date (but maybe a bit of a large scope) could be an investigation into reconfigurable architectures. An FPGA type system which reconigures it's architecture on the fly to optimize it's performance for the tasks it's processing at any particular time.

Thank Old Nick.
I know that's it's a very large area and I didn't mean the SoC is my goal it's just a way.
I just like to use it esp using FPGA/VHDL your offer is good I've some problem with choosing a topic that have those aspects.
I've some interest esp near to Computer Architecture area but I don't like to choose not a practical one or a topic that not in interest of my professors.

is there any hint or point?

that's link help me in another way..... :)
