Hello,
In a lab experiment, I and my group were observing bluetooth data transfer rates on mobile at variable distances & different file formats. We encountered an unusual reading when we transferred jpeg file at 3 different distances 0 ft, 15 ft & 25 ft & the data rates obtained were 1178Kbps, 589Kbps & 777Kbps respectively. As it can be seen that the data rate was more at 25 ft than at 15 ft. The data rate should have decreased with increase in distance but instead the rate increased. The readings were verified multiple times & in different environments. We searched over internet but there was no explanation available. We will be very much thankful if you help us understand the reason (or possible reason) behind this unusual phenomenon.
