Hi,

I am looking for a programmable interval timer which could operated at the CLK of 20MHZ. The intersil 82c54 can only have CLK of 12MHZ which is too slow for me.

Could anybody recommend a timer which has a very close function as 82c54 for me?

thanks a lot.

Hi

You have to create one of your own

Xilinx And Altera show how to impliment the 82c54 on an CPLD or FPGA you can also find some site over the net with code in VHDL who sho how to profram a timer in HDL language

the liks are as follows :

w*w.xilinex.com & w*w.altera.com

All the best

Bobi
