Hi,

I downloaded the Quartus software from the web site of Altera. Now, to run synthesis and static timing analysis, they recommend to download the ModelSim 6.0, which I did. Now, how to make the quartus software compatible with ModelSim so that I can run the scripts.

Thanks,
Shantha Rangarajan

You should select ModelSim during new project generation. In "EDA Tool Settings" select "ModelSim" and tick the following combo box i.e. "Run this tool automatically after compilation".

Regards,
KH

Simply save all your files, (.v) or(.wvf) and then start a new project and follow the instructions that will nclude the addition of modelsim and that it, for any further help or full licence just email me :)
