Re: radio project

This will require outdoor antennas and will probably have low data rates in the RS232 or telephone modem range. Do these features match with your project needs?

radio project

hi,

I am doing almost the same thing. I want to link two
computer's serial port (rs232) by wireless channel.

I use fsk modulation. In the transimitter, computer's data is sended to a max232, where, the rs232 data are transformed to TTL level. Then, the TTL data to send to a FSK modulator. The FSK modulator is a VCO + frequency synthesizer(nationa's LMX2300 series) . In the receiver, i use philips SA605 to implement the FSK demodulation.

regards

Re: radio project

You are going in the right technical direction. You will need the links in each direction to be on different frequencies so that they work simultaneously.

You problem may be a legal one. Check the laws in your country for the frequency bands and power levels that are allowed for unlicensed devices.

Re: radio project

A very good book i can suggest for your project is :

"Optimising Wireless Networks " ,i don't remember the author.

Its available in our forum so you can download.

Re: radio project

Hello;
Can you implement your project by DECT standard?
