Hello ,
I have great experience on NEC , but I am totally newcomer with HFSS.
I want to model an antenna which is built like this:
A full wave round loop in front of an full wavelength circular reflector ( refl to loop distance is lambda/8) .
No problem to build the model , but the results I get are very far from what I've found publisehd abt this antenna ( impedance is totaly wrong).
I suspect the way I applied exitation migth be the problem. I modeled a small rectangle between the reflector and the loop and applied the exitation here ( almost the same that I have found for the well known HFSS tutorial called dipole).
Is my way to drive the loop rigth , or am I in error?
Tnx
