i need help on an op-amp attenuator ckt. that can attenuate 400v to 5v

My advice is for you to download a book titled "Art and Science of Analog Design" at this link inside the forum:



There is a topic in the book about signal conditioning circuits for the input signal (probably includes attenuation) for use of the DSO. Hope this helps.
