hexagonal unit cell

I'm trying to simulate a hexagonal unite cell with Floquet port in HFSS

1. I used a lattice coordination system, as shown in the picture? Is that correct?

**broken link removed**

2. I reduced the hexagonal unit cell to the rhombic unit cell (that rhombic vertices placed at the center of hexagonals ) but I got some error "Adaptive solution setup, process hf3d error: Error in pre-assembling element matrix."

Can any one help me?

hexagonal hfss floquet

I simulated the hexagonal mushroom Seveinpiper using the shown lattice coordination, The results was consistent with published results :D

any idea?

Hello,
I am also trying to simulate a Hexagonal Unit Cell with Floquet port in HFSS.
Did you use the Floquet port shown in the figure to simulate this structure?
Did you get a close result with the published papers?
Could you introduce one of the papers related to Hexagonal Unit Cell that I can use it as a reference?
Best Regards,
Alireza
