I am working on an Cherry Hooper amplifier. My design is having resistors.

I replaced these resistors with pmos (gate is ground connected).

With resistors I got good response. But while using pmos I am getting reduced bandwidth.

Can any one say the reason???

Thanking you,
RamesH

Hi

PMOS have capacitance from gate to source and from gate to drain check the data sheet of the PMOS you are using to know the so coled gate capacitance

In order to reduce the gate cap you can use RF PMOS with very low gate capacitance

All the best

Bobi
