Hi guys!
I am doing a project on fingerprint recognition. As I know, the 1st step in the processing is getting image of fingerprint ( then process it). This is done by a fingerprint scanner device. But it seems that, the devices are always intergrated with a recognition software, not producing image! All we have to do is touching the sensor then it shows, "OK, you are authorized to access...." or "Access denied"... I think Microsoft Fingerprint Reader is of this type!
So, could you tell which device is suitable for the project! I mean, It just produces image after i touch the sensor, not required to do authentication!
Ah, by the way, have you got links to downloadable books on this filed???
