IrDA - again...

Hi,
I have searched the forum but did not find what I needed. I want to interface a Pocket-PC to an AVR through IrDA on the lowest level (raw IR).
I have it allmost running, but a leading zero followed by a couple of ones at the start kicks the UART in the AVR out of synk. I know that I could start the UART after the first zero, but I have a similar problem at the Pocket-PC end as well. Correct reception is very dependant on the data sent. So there is something strange going on...

I use Vishay IrDA transceiver and endec for pulse-shaping, so that should work fine. I think the problem lies in the Pocket-PC end of things...

Any clues?

Thanks

Janne
