Help me fix a strange IC5033 performance

strange I@C5033 runing

I only set up these couple of line in the file .cshrc, the software runs properly.

setenv CDS_ROOT /home/xxx/ic5
setenv CDS_INST_DIR $CDS_ROOT
set path = ($CDS_ROOT/tools/bin $CDS_INSTALL_DIR/bin $CDS_ROOT/tools/spectre/bin $path)

even without the license file.
Anyone know the reason?

There are 2 possible.
1. the license file is already in system setting /etc/profile.d/xxx.csh
2. the files were cracked

Hi,

i think it is possible that the ciw comes up without a license, but if you try to launch a specific tool (e.g. SKILL toolbox), an error message will be printed in the ciw.
or are you able to carry out simulations, draw schematice and so on?

u can use env to find out your environment variable.
then may be LM_LICENSE_FILE can be found.

without license,the ic50 can run,but only do a few things,like read schematic and layout and can't edit them.

which pdk you used with your ic5.0.33?

without pdk how we can run tools such as layoutplus?
