Arduino UNO has 13 digital pins.. I want to use the pins 2 and 3 as input by connecting them to sensors. But the problem is my sensor has to be connected with three wires(Vcc, GND, Data). I have only one Vcc pin on my board. How should i make the connections?
As BDG says you need to mention the sensor and what its Vcc is 5v or 3v3, you have both on the Uno board
The UNO is designed to be used with a breadboard and breadboard wires, this makes it easy so connect more devices, though any small gauge solid copper wire could be use to plug in to the Uno connectors.
Have you reviewed the datasheet to ensure, as wp100 mentions, the device is properly powered, the required protocol/signalling method is implemented, etc?
Not all 1-Wire devices are created equal. Some adhere to the Dallas/MAXIM standards, others do not.
When in doubt, first always reference the devices datasheet.
