Help me choose better current source

current source

which one of these is better, if we look at component characteristics and power supply?

If you'v read book or lecture of Allen,might you can find some .

The second one has higher output resistance, but worse compliance.

If you use the first one, when Vdd change the current will change. If you use a PNP transistor and a resistor connected to the grounded the variation are less, because the transistor absorb part of the variation and the resistor voltage remain quite constant.
