Help me build a 20kva 3-phase inverter

dear all

i would like to build 3-phase inverter of 20kva rating..plz see specs

1. input voltage is 20-28 vdc from lead acid cells
2. out put is 415volts ac.

can anybody tell how to proceed...

20kva inverters

This will require a serious understanding of power electronics and experience. You also running the risk of killing yourself if you don't know what you are doing. In the company I once worked for we designed 3 phase inverters using IGBT's up to about 100kW. Not an easy task. But even the 20kW will require know-how and experience to design. Also the fact you want to use 28V supply will involve switching huge (800A)currents, making it even more difficult. You will need to up the DC supply for a start by using banks of batteries.

yeh i ahve experiance in power electronics and worked upto 2.5 kw only now i would like to work for higher rating..

i thinkin my project like this

4 5kw dc/dc converter 700vdc/7.1 A in parallel and this output to three phase dc/ac section,

i hope i ll suceed

any comments will be appriciated

you need to know PWM or SPWM and other modulation techniques.

20kva inverter

How can i generate 3phase output for an inverter. I have done a single phase push pull inverter. How can i convert to 3phase output. Schematic or advice is appreciated. Thanks.

Hi,
Right click it and from the drop-down menu, choose "Save Image As".
