I need to build a level translator with Op amp.
Power supply is +/- 5V.
The input frequency is not more than 100KHz.
I need to translate the input signal from -/+2.5V to 0-5V i.e adding +2.5V to the input voltage.
Please help with schematics.

Use an OPAMP in positive feedback configuration:

Place a resistor R from negative input to output.
Place another resistor R (equal in value to the other resistor) from negative input to a voltage reference of -2.5 volts

Recieve signal on positive input after going through a voltage divider with gain of 0.5

You should power your opamp with V+ >= 7V and V- <= -4.5V.

kukurigu,
Using an inverting op-amp configuration:
. Let the signal input resistor and feedback resistors = R.
. Connect a 2R resistor from the inverting input to the +5V supply.
As the voltage goes from -2.5V to + 2.5 V, the output will go from 0 to +5V.
.
If the power supply voltage isn't accurate enough, use a precision +5V reference for the bias input to the 2R resistor.

Kral

You could also use a differential amplifier with - input tied to -2.5V.
With input at -2.5V output of amp is 0V with input at +2.5V the output is 5V.

Use the opamp as adder circuit
