good day!
. i have a problem with it and that is when ever i connect the circuit for the first time it works.. but afterwards the triac leaks... i mean that the motor connected gets some power and moves with a slow speed if moc led is off... when a bulb is connected ,the bulb flickers and has a relatively low intensity...but it should have been completly switched off... i think my circuit has certain problem.. can u suggest any changes or even a new circuit for this purpose

how to calculate the value of the resistor for 180 valued res?

Use the snubber circuit suggested in the MOC302x data sheet. As discussed in countless edaboard threads dedicated
to the same topic, it's necessary for correct operation.

ok has the current triac fused ... do i have to use new one...

and one thing more i want to use motor as load so should i place a RL also? if yes how can i calculate the value of RL?
