help for active sync remote display for wince devices

hi
i tried connecting my wince device to pc through active sync and windows mobile developer power toys it worked i got some steps in net to connect wince device since the software does not recognise wince device directly
these are the steps
copy credisp2.exe from armv4 folder in active sync remote display to windows folder iin device and execute it from the windows folder
i wnted to know what is credisp2.exe file and why we follow this procedure please help
