Hello friends

I am making Stepper motor controller.I choose Mosfet IRFZ44 for driving stepper motors but i cant found any mosfet driver ic of logic level mosfet in my city.Today i found design from net which shows that how to drive Mosfets by using Transistor. So i want to ask u that is this circuit work?Switching frequency is near 50Khz.

I also want to know which method is batter? 1: driveing Mosfets from IC such as IR2111 of from transistors?

Plz replay me as soon as possible

The circuit you have posted can only drive a low side Nmosfet so I assume that you are not making an H bridge but you are using 4 mosfets as low side switches to control a unipolar motor.
Is this the case?

This circuit drives the base of the transistors through a 1K resistor so the output current will be limited and this will slow the mosfet speed.

Note that the circuit you have posted needs more than 6v input to work, you can't control it using 3.3 v or 5v logic level

I would suggest a solution like
N-Mosfet_driver.jpg
You can replace 2N7000 with a transistor if you want (and a base resistor)

Thankx for ur reply but now i found IC IR2111 so i decided to work with it.Thank u very much
