Design square wave oscillator using 555 timer operating at 8khz with 50% duty cycle.
need sample design and computation/formula.

However I think you should know that R1 & R2 should be between 1k to 10M ohm to get correct result! thus if you change duty cycle to 50.2 for example !.

An ordinary 555 cannot produce exactly a 50% duty cycle but it can be fairly close.
