HELP: CST MWS4 and OpenGL

Hi,

I've installed V4 but unable to startup 'cause of OpenGL problem;
"Resetting the graphics system failed.
The OpenGL display may not work any longer.
Please close the application and reboot your computer."

My video card is nVIDIA GeForce2 MX 400 and have tried the driver's setup changing available OpenGL setup but no suucess.
Running driver is the latest one from nVIDIA.

Recall that the V3 had also similar problem but it could be reset???

Any kind help will be very much appreciated.

I had the same problem with v3. But solved in v4.0 - I did nothing except for upgrading. OS is Win XP Pro SP1 and Geforce 2 with latest nVIDIA reference drivers.

I have the same graphic card, GeForce2 MX-400. I'm using original driver from CD and WinXP SP1. Both 3 and 4 versions working well.... :?: :!:

The problem was solved by replacing the old but original signed by MS nVIDIA driver version 2.9.5.8 dated 2001/07/02.
I don't know what is wrong with the latest driver 41.09.

GaAs FET, what is your driver version?

Release Date: November 8, 2002
WHQL Certified

Sorry, I believed I had the latest driver installed. In any case, I searched Google groups for information and got the impression there might be an OpenGL issue with 41.09. Problems were reported, mainly among gamers.

I'm glad you solved the problem. If you are brave enough to try the 40.72, here's the link:

with the last WHQL problem also

on my computer AGP MX400 dual and another PCI for TV out + VGA

1 run with 3 * 21 inchs screens !!

and after a little time my mouse cursor not move ( only keys ) !

i have replaced drivers by the old version ( original CD ) and at this time no problem
