cdsdoc konqueror

I have installed Cadence IC 5.0.33 and Netcape 7.02. But cdsdoc can't display documents.

The cdsdoc main window can be opened. But when I select a document and click "Open", the Netscape window displays "starting...", and the terminal window displays a message after a while:
Internal error: invalid timerId
konqueror: WARNING: KonqFactory::createView : no factory

Anyone can help me?

This problem was solved when updated Netscape to V7.2

I use Mozilla and put a simbolic link in /usr/bin to my mozilla files. Try ln -s [your mozilla bin file] /usr/bin/netscape.
Be sure that /usr/bin is in higher position that you netscape dir in $path.
You could make a alias to netscape. In RedHat 9 this works.

Good luck.

Thanks, renato.
Now I run into another problem. Although I have successfully installed netscape 7.2, sometimes I will get a konqueror window when I invoke netscape (strange!).
FYI, my Linux distribution is Mandrake 9.2. And I am using KDE 3.1 environment.

Just start up mozilla (BUT FIRST)

Then type cdsdoc& in a terminal.

and then click 'Open' on the cdsdoc interface to open a document.

That's it folks, everything runs like a charm.
Tested under EL3.0 Redhat, FC3, Mand9.2
