Hello,

I'm trying to reproduce the Fig2 and Fig3 using the formulas given in 18-27 in the attached paper but in vain. Finally, I plot the Gaussian beam using the equation 1-2 with g=2 and theta=30, the result is still a plane wave. Thus I suspect the formula of the Gaussian beam is wrong, or maybe I missed something.

Would anyone here can help me out of this? Any suggestions on how I can reproduce the Fig2 and Fig3? (Paper itself is clear and straitforward and all the equations are given explicitly).

Thanks a lot in advance!!!

Regards,

[BTW: how can I post images directly inside the message here rather than attach it as a file?][/img]
