I did a complex PCB using ADS. I placed the parts references (R1, R2, C2, etc...) in the silkscreen layer, as well some text and parts outlines.
I exported the whole PCB to Gerber format, but the silkscreen Gerber file misses the R1, R2, C2 and so on. Manually added text and outlines are OK.
ADS help does not help.
How to make those references appear in the exported Gerber files?
The font used in ADS layout for annotation text has zero width for the lines. This means that it is OK for on screen display and printing but cannot export to gerber because of the zero width. None of the fonts available for annotation text will export. The only text that will work is the Block Text Fonts available from the palette but these have to be placed manually and are not available directly for annotation text.

Thank you for your help. I am still a little bit confused... :\
If I add some text to the layout using
"Insert > Text"
the optional fonts are "HersheyRoman" or "HersheyRomanNarrow", the same two optional fonts for component name and instance name.
While exporting, I select in the Gerber options "8 mils" in the "Line width for polylines" field. Zero width polylines are exported as 8mils lines, text added with text boxes are exported as 8mils lines, but no instance name for components appears.
