Hello All,

Pls find the attached figure.
USB Impedance.png

i want to understand the impedance of the USB Device/Host.

The communication is working on the 12MBPS Datarates.

i want this resistance to put into the EMC Simulations where we cant put the model of the usb.

Let me know good articles if you know.

As well i would like to understand the Frequency VS datarates Differences.

Regards,
Marx

The differential impedance between DP/DM is nominal 90Ohm.

Hi,

I assume there is a lack of understanding how data transmission via a cable works.

--> Read USB standard specification.
--> And read about "impedance matching", what "cable characteristic impedance" means and how "transmission line termination" works.
