hi all,

we have designed induction based knife heater,it is working good.
but the main problem is induction coils bobbin, when knife heated,
it temperature rise beyond 300C.anybody please suggest suitable
bobbin materiel which withstand above 400c.

thanks in advance

Induction heaters are mostly using self-supported thick copper wires or tubes. Otherwise ceramic would be a perfect bobbin material. Ceramic bobbins are often used for short wave power amplifiers.
