Does any one know what is OpenCAD? Do we have any kind of software with this name, which has any kind of relation with Synopsys core synthesis tools?

OpenCAD is NEC inhouse tools for ASIC support.

OpenCad is NEC's Design Enviroment for NEC'fab

It support Modelsim , VCS,NC-Verilog,Verilog-XL simulator
Deisgn-Compiler.

It's just a design enviroment for people easy to use NEC's library.

If you have this tool ,you also need Design Compiler and Simulator.

It's only useful when you want to use NEC'fab.
