Hi everyone,

Kindly let me know what hardware design should i use to eliminate harmonics
from the attached AC waveform.

It is the filtered output AC sine wave of a static converter.

Re: Harmonics Elimination output sine wave of DC-AC converte

What kind of output filter are you using? I am designing a similar system, take a look at my results here:

I get not very nice sine waveform at the peak of the output voltage. But I have been told it might be due to the measurement technique. I really do not know for sure.

Re: Harmonics Elimination output sine wave of DC-AC converte

first off all the sine wave is a modified sine wave using step square wave not the PWM , the output AC volt is than connected to the 230VAC capacitors for filteration as shown in diagram.

Re: Harmonics Elimination output sine wave of DC-AC converte

Can you show the unfiltered waveforms? What is the switching frequency of your step square signal?

Re: Harmonics Elimination output sine wave of DC-AC converte

attached is the unfiltered waveform.

reduce amplification. I guess you see pulses on resonant-frequency of you filter

Re: Harmonics Elimination output sine wave of DC-AC converte

how will i reduce amplification
