I want help regarding the design of harmonic filter (PCB mount) that shall tolerate THD of 25% (max). Also required to design low pass filter to eliminate high frequency components (1KHz and higher). Incoming signal is 10V/50Hz. Total group delay of the filter network shall not exceed 100us. Is it possible?

Hi,

* What is it used for?

* What´s the input waveform?
* what harmonics to be suppressed? starting at 2nd, 3rd ..?
* what harmonics amplitude(s) do you expecct?
* what´s the allowed attenuation of the fundamental frequency?
* what´s the expected input/output impedance?

"THD of 25%" is the input or the expected output?

Purely analog, or are digital filters allowed, too?

If you attenuate harmonics with an LPF you automatically attenuate higher frequencies.
