hi, I'm a final year student, doing a project on energy meter using ADe7768 IC. This IC comes with ESD caution. I work on the projects at my home.How to handle ESD problem? I don't want to damage my IC.

use conductive sheets on your working desk ,away from insulators,plastic .....
 

Grounding will do the job...
