User “Krokus22” presents his project, namely, a DRSSTC built on a half bridge from a GA200SA60UP Vishaya, with a resonant capacitor MMC Wima FKP-1 16, 150nF/2 kV capacitors, net capacity factor 150nF/8 kV, 6 primary coils Φ 6 mm, secondary coil 110x440 with 0.25 wire and an aluminum toroid made of a spiro pipe 100x350 mm.
2 capacitors RIFA 2200 uF/400V fulfill the role of the capacitive divider, coiling controller is a system with a feedback on current transformers with a prediction system, which allows an ideal capacitance of the pins while switching. Of course, Tesla can work even on 400 V (tested with 370 V), fiber-optic controlling on a TX/RX HFBR14xx.
Additionally, a guitar modulator, which generates impulses with the frequency of a guitar string vibration being based on a simple filp-flop and comparator - of course, it has a duration regulation, etc. Paradoxically, generating even two-three sounds is not a big challenge.
A midi modulator was also made, however it has not been tested yet. Below there are some pictures and a video showing how the device works. Power supply is only 100 V AC. With 150V AC it produces 60 cm but it can more.
An interesting fact is that sparks with high power resemble SSTC, are very thick spirally twisted. It is connected to huge resonance amounting to 160 kHz.
