This home made distortion is a copy of MXR Distortion Plus effect.

Construction:
The PCB was made in thermal transfer method. Housing consists of two plates, sanded with sandpaper. Sides were made 4mm thick plywood, angles reinforced. Everything was glued together using a special glue for wood and then varnished. To save space on the pedalboard, sockets are placed on the top of housing. The device uses two-section isostat as a switch. The effect was equipped with not-truebypass, because only the output is switched (another section is for the indicating diode).

Schematic:
Schematic can be found HERE. The battery is cut off by removing the plug from input socket or connecting the power supply.
