what is the relationship between modualtion index(ma=peak of sine /peak of triangular) and the output voltage when using sinusoidal pulse width modualtion in the inverter(diode clamped inverter); this SPWM is used to drive the transistors in the diode clamped inverter.

i found in my results that increasing the ma means an increase in the output voltage magnitude especially the fundamental component of the output voltage.

is there any relationship or any equation or criteria controlling this relationship between the ma index and the output voltage magnitude????!!!>>>

thank you all...
