Inverter

Dear friends,
I am an italian researcher in signal/image processing. I am going to start a new research topic regarding grid-connected inverter for photovoltaic applications .
Could anybody suggest me any useful internet resource, documentation and Matlab files ?
Thank you so much.

I think the good point to start you is with the DC/DC converter control.... then move to Inverter Control and then grid synchronization.

Here's a good title to start from:
"Ts-3 single-phase grid-connected photovoltaic system using rectified sinusoidal hysteresis current control thesis"

Try the Z-source and Quasi-Z-Source after exploring the DC-DC Boost and Inverter :)

Hello.

I did not want to start a new thread so I decided to post in this one.

A grid-tied inverter must provide a voltage a little higher than the grid voltage. To achieve this the inverter must monitor the voltage in the grid. Could you suggest a circuit for monitoring the grid voltage?

Do you think that monitoring one phase would be enough or not?

The inverter must also be shut down if the grid shuts down (it's voltage drops to zero).

And perhaps some document you can refer me to on this matter would be useful.

I already have an idea for the syncronization (zero crossing detection) so lets not comment on this.

I tried to find something on the topic in the forum and most probably there are many topics on this but I just could not find my thing.
