Hi all!

(not shure if this is the right place for this topic...)
I´m trying to make a program in basic that reads the 8bits of the LPT port and
then preforms the Goertzel algorithm on it to get the magnitude of certain frequences.
I havent done anything like this before but thought it might be a good place to start.
Eventualy I will put the program in an Uc to do a simple spectrumanalysis of sound signal.
Now I am looking for references on this.
Am i on the wrong way here?
Can anyone help me out?

Best regards / Hampus

I know not the Goertzel algorithm, but I do know of basic programming.
It sounds to me like you are on the right track. Maybe store your inputs into a nice big array and use this array as your var for the algorithm?
