how to get gm/Id Vs Vgs plot using cadence spectre simulator. reply asap, thanks in advance.

Run DC analysis. Sweeping variable is Vgs (just connect Vgs to Vdc and sweep Vdc voltage).
Then using calculator take IS of drain or drain current. Click "Special function" and select "deriv"
Then click "x<->y", then "/"(devide) and "erplot"

how to plot gm of a mosfet in cadence

Hi Fom, can you tell me how to plot ft Vs Vgs.
and how to do the noise analysis in cadence spectre, i would like to see flicker noise and thermal noise produced by an mosfet.
if possible one more thing-> how to plot intrinsic gain of a mosfet Verses Vgs.
