Guys i'm designing a pcb on fusion 360. I need to use a component which is not in the fusion library. So i added the library for the 2d and footprint model but i don't know how to add the 3d model. Because the 3d model is in another file
 
you didn't say what format the 3D model is

this may help:

the 4th post of 9 (Jorge Garcia) writes how to do it, but the instructions are a little short

this video should help


i've done his a few times
the 3D model needs to be positioned properly relative to the footprint
i move the model in x, then y then z to line up the pins and pads and etc
moving in one direction at a time makes it easier for me
