Distributed parasitics

Hi all,

I just read about the power supply noise consisting of dynamic AC voltage fluctuation due to frequency dependent distributed parasitics.

Could anyone explain in detail about frequency dependent distributed parasitics?

Hi, take a loop at this link.
It explains origin of power supply noise and how to cope with it.

It means the impedence of caps (used for decoupling) varies with frequency and this changes the ripple you see on the supply.
i*Z=Vripple.
