pic16f877 frequency counter

hey guys,
i'm searching for a good frequency counter , i need more measuring scale & less
calibration steps .
bye,

picbasic pro frequency counter

this is a "Universal Counter"

the counter is based on the AT90S8515 Microcontroller . it can display up to 10GHz in resolution of 100 Hz, (input range is 10MHz to 2.4GHz) or display up to 100 MHz in resolution of 1 Hz , & other modes....

e-master, you need to define "good". Frequency range, accuracy, stability, resolution, your budget, etc.

What's that about calibration? I lock all my counters and signal generators to an external 10 MHz reference, so I have only one thing to adjust.

picbasic frequency counter

search the intersil website, they have designs of frequency counter.

frequencemetre f5soh

Hello

If want it for audio only, you can use PIC16F877 as frequency counter, with LCD...

t can be easily built using PICBasic Pro.

Here are plans for one. Look in old logic books like those
from F. Mims or D. Lancaster. They usually have such
projects.

frequency counter picbasic

I had made one for my old vacuum tube receiver. It uses PIC microcontroller, the highest working frequency is 50MHz, and could be reach 1G by freq devide chip. If anyone needs the total design, please contact me by email or message, I will send the protel design files to you.

Post a picture of schematic here? I think the original design file is better for you all, it include both schematic and pcb. I had already sent to several guys this afternoon.
