forward recovery time of different diodes?

I was wondering what is the ballpart of forward recovery time of different diodes:
1. fast diode?
2. ultra fast diode?
3. SiC Schottky diode?

and which diode can forward switch very fast like a few nano at most?

No Forward recovery in Sic Schottky.

Most UF diode datasheets dont even state it, eg US1M

...though its very poor in this US1M diode, and eg the flyback drain shoots up a lot further due to it.

As very little data is given in data sheets - it is a worthwhile exercise to test different diodes for your self.

Don't forget - total ckt loop inductance often has a more detrimental effect.
