hello my flyback converter secondary voltage increases slowly i dont know why does lack of snubber or incorrect snubber cause this. i'm using a irfp450 with 230v ac supply converted to dc and a filter cap of 10uf 250v. i have a primary inductance of 23mH. someone help me out.

It is impossible to help you, with so little information.

The irfp450 is a Mosfet, but what type of controller are you using?

At the very least, we require a full schematic with complete part values.
Also, output voltage and current, whether you are operating CCM or DCM, what is meant by slow (seconds, minutes, hours?).

It's likely an issue with the controller. Most controllers should have an automatic shutoff or cycle skipping/burst mode operation to deal with very light loads. What kind of feedback are you using?

Hi phobos1 !
What is your idea if you attach your schematic here and tell us more about specification of it and then asking for help ? you simply noticed that you have such a problem ! it can be caused by many of the parameters ! if you need help , you should deliver valuable information and schematic then many of the people here can guide ! ok ?

Best Wishes !
