flyback boundary current

i have some questions about the flyback boundary current
1.
the boundary current IoB=k*Io
where k ,0<k<1
Is this formula correct ?
2.
how to decide the boundary current working point ?

i would just use excel sheet and v=Ldi/dt for pri and sec

i.e. di = v.dt/L

and

dt = L.di/V
