Here is the manual for the fluke 87
https://assets.fluke.com/manuals/87______umeng0800.pdf

I just learned how to use the analog display scale , because i always thought it was uncalibrated all this time because its always lower than the digital display value or its at a random lower number which doesn't make sense.

The manual say this
Analog Display Scale
The analog pointer indicates a value lower than the digital display (up to 2.5% of range).

I tried using the Frequency and Duty Cycle modes , and I can't get them to work because I put my probe on a Test Point , but since the signal is pulsating and not steady I guess the DVM meter can't or has a hard time measuring the frequency and duty cycles? because I tried alot of Test points and it didn't work on any of them.

I tried using this mode on the DVM meter which was to measure Conductance and it is measured in nanosiemens

This Also didn't work at all , I tried measuring the conductance of a trace from component to component and it didn't work , why is that?

How do u use this mode please?

This is what the manual said:
Using Conductance for High Resistance or
Leakage Tests
Conductance is the inverse of resistance (i.e., 1/ohms)
and is measured in units of nanosiemens (nS = 1 x 10-9
Siemens). The 40-nS range on your meter effectively
extends the resistance measurement capability to 100,000
MW. The 40-nS range can, therefore, be used to test the
resistance or leakage in insulators, diodes, transistors,
cables, connectors, printed circuit boards, transformers,
motors, capacitors, or other high resistance components.
To measure conductance, set the rotary switch to MJK
and press Kto manually increment to the 40-nS
range. Plug the test leads into the VJL and COM input
terminals, and then connect these leads across the unit
under test. The reading displayed is in units of
conductance (nS). To convert this reading to megohms,
divide the reading into 1000 (1000/displayed reading in nS
= MW). For example 2.00 nS converts to 500 MW
(1000/2.00). High value resistance measurements are
susceptible to induced noise and may require careful
shielding. To smooth out most noisy readings, enter the
MIN MAX Recording mode and scroll to the average
(AVG) reading.

I tried again today to measure the conductance nS , using a 1 meg resistor , the display just read 0L , then i tried a 10K resistor same things, I tried measure the bare wire, then a pcb trace, anything i measure it will display OL

What is measuring conductance used for?
