floppy disk drive emulation

Hi all:

I´m looking for info on 1.44mb floppy disk drive architecture inorder to emulate
a drive (to hang a peripheral to the IDE bus and make it to look as a FD drive to the system)

Could anyone prompt me to a link with this info?
have anyone built such a circuit?
